Hey Everyone!
Just in case you didn't know, for spring break I went on a 4-Day Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas. This vacation was amazing and I want to share my experience with all of you.
My friends and I flew to Miami, Florida on Sunday, March 2nd and boarded the cruise the next day. We spent Monday afternoon and all day Tuesday at sea traveling to our first destination. Although we were stuck at sea, my friends and I kept ourselves busy by attending events and participating in different activities on the ship. These activities included: multiple comedy shows, karaoke night, movie showings, the club, bars, dinners, and swimming of course.
On Wednesday, we arrived at our first destination, which was Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. This beach is by far my favorite beach that I've ever been to! The water was so clear and so beautiful, plus the sand was so soft like baby powder. There was plenty of space to soak in the sun and plenty of activities to engage in on this island.
On Thursday, we arrived in Nassau, Bahamas which was our second and last stop on the cruise. Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas and is a popular tourist destination. When my friends and I left the cruise port, we were soon approached by multiple tour guides and Bahamian locals. We were able to find an amazing tour guide who took us to multiple locations. Our tour guide Henry explained the island history, customs, stopped by local businesses, drove us to historical landmarks, popular restaurants, the Atlantis Resort, and one of the well-known beaches. Some of the historical landmarks were the Queen's Staircase, Pompey Square, Fort Fincastle, and more. Long story short, when it was time to get back on the ship my friends and I didn't want to leave! This trip to The Bahamas is definitely one for the books and I can't wait to travel more this year.
